We source our Cornish Cross chicks locally from Cameron, TX and raise them indoors under heat lamps for two around weeks while they feather out. After that, they spend six weeks in open-air shelters that rotate daily to fresh pasture—what we call “changing the bed sheets.” This gives them space to forage, scratch, and just be chickens; all while staying safe from the many predators in our area.

Their daily ration comes from H&H Feeds in Hamilton, TX. It’s soy-free, non-GMO, packed with protein, vitamins, minerals, and probiotics to support healthy growth and clean energy. Processing is completed on the ranch under P.L. 90-492. We encourage you to come see our setup on processing days!
